Melissa was born and raised in the small town of Jackson, MI and for as long as she can remember wanted to do anything in this world that was centered around creating beautiful things. As a child she drew designs of her future home on graph paper that one day came to life when she and her husband decided to build thier first home together in Westfield, IN.  This home designing process inspired Melissa to take this one step further and share her passion for design, creating inspirational spaces and creative DIY projects with those around her.  As an Undergraduate from Spring Arbor University in Business and a Graduate from Indiana Wesleyan in Business Leadership she aspires to move others around her to create beauty, simplicity and fall in love again in the spaces they reside.  Married to her husband and best friend for seven years, Ben, they have one daughter they welcomed this spring, Kennedy Elizabeth Asbury.  This past year Kennedy inspired Melissa to live her dreams in sharing her passion for inspiring others to love the home they live in once again through this site.  Her design style is classic and timeless with a fresh twist for today’s world.   With every project it starts with a vision and ends with a restful place she calls home.  Welcome.  Our hope is to  inspire you to do great things and may you consider her lucky enough to be a part of your design story along the way.  XO
